1. Understand What the Competition Is All About

The Arietis competition is designed to test and celebrate:

  • Abacus speed & accuracy

  • Vedic Maths mental calculation skills

  • Focus & concentration

  • Confidence in problem-solving

  • Discipline under time pressure

This is not just a test it’s a platform for children to shine, grow, and challenge themselves.



2. Check Your Child’s Competition Level

Every child will compete according to:

  • Their current Abacus level

    OR

  • Their Vedic Maths level


So before Dec 7th, make sure your child knows:

  • Their exact level

  • Topics they need to revise

  • Timing rules for their category

This helps avoid confusion and reduces last-minute stress.


3. Follow the Daily Practice Routine

Consistent practice is the key to confidence.

Here’s a simple routine you can encourage:

For Abacus Learners

  • 10 minutes of speed writing

  • 10 minutes of abacus digit practice

  • 1 worksheet per day

  • 3–5 rows mental sums daily


For Vedic Maths Learners

  • Practice one trick per day

  • Solve 10–15 questions using shortcuts

  • Focus on accuracy first, speed next

  • Abacus (with blue beads if it’s Arietis model)

  • Pencils & eraser

  • Water bottle

  • Hall ticket / ID (if applicable)

  • A calm mind and good rest

Avoid trying brand-new topics right before the event.

  • Avoid comparing them with other kids

  • Appreciate their daily practice

  • Tell them, “Just do your best that’s enough!”

  • Keep the morning stress-free on competition day

6. Arrive Early on Competition Day

To ensure a smooth experience:

  • Reach the venue 20–30 minutes early

  • Find your child’s seating area

  • Clear doubts with support staff if needed

  • Let your child settle comfortably

Avoid rushing calmness improves performance.


7. After the Competition: What Parents Should Expect

Once the competition ends:

  • Evaluations will begin

  • Results will be announced as per schedule
